Two of my favorite multimedia is PowerPoint and Wikispaces. I love PowerPoint for creating fun presentations for material. I also think that the PowerPoint program is easy enough that students could use it to create single or group presentations for the class. It's a good way for students to get involved in researching and planning material they want to present.
I have recently learned about Wikispaces and absolutely fell in like with them. I think they are a great way to connect students and teachers. I think that there are so many possibilities for a Wikispace. For my classroom I would use it to organize homework assignments and spelling words for my students. I would hold discussions about what we are reading. Its a great place for parents to find out what is going on within the class. I also like that students can edit and be involved in the Wikispace. It nice to have a spot where students can some to collect and gather information for group or classroom projects.
You know I have always loved power point until I got in this class and used the prezi.com. It is sooooo much more interesting than power point, I used it for my digital citizenship project for this class. I too enjoyed the wiki spaces and again didn't know anything about them until I took this class!
